As you may have noticed … I haven’t been blogging for a while and have just recently made my return. This is due to the fact that the past 4/5 months has been the most stressful time of my life. It’s safe to say that I have been through a lot.

First of all, I have just finished my a-levels, which were a lot harder that I had originally thought. So much of my time was taken up from trying to catch up on my work, sleep and personal life. Not going to lie, it was definitely very hard to keep everything balanced. One of the subjects that I chose to study, ICT, made my life a living hell. Still baffles me to think how a subject could place me in one of my lowest points. However, I have now finished sixth form and just waiting anxiously for results day. I hope it doesn’t go too bad.

Secondly … I finally got a job! I got a job at one of my favourite shops, Schuh and I absolutely love it. My co-workers are some of the best people that I’ve ever met and I get along with everybody so well. I am building up many skills whilst working here and it’s really putting me in a good position. The hours and pay are amazing too, I have been practically working full time, 30 odd hours a week! Something that many other retailers do not offer their employees. I am very grateful to have the perfect part-time job. Oh and the discount is pretty nice too!

Then obviously I had other things happen, such as being caught up in the Manchester attack, which 2 months later is still so surreal to me. If you do wish to read my experience of the attack then click here. It frustrates me thinking about it. Just why would anybody want to do such a thing?

However, although I have been super busy, now that I have finished sixth form and aren’t working at home all the time, I can finally focus on my blog (and possible new youtube channel with different social media tips)!

The Plan

Upload Schedule

I plan to upload a minimum of 2 times a week. I will be posting on Wednesday and Sunday every week at 5PM. I will also just post randomly when I’m feeling inspired and motivated.

I am planning to go self-hosted very soon, I am slightly nervous but also very excited to gain that freedom I’ve been wanting for the longest time. This means I will also be finally getting my own domain name and can start to focus on SEO!

Social Media

I have now combined my ‘personal’ and my ‘blog’ twitters, so from now on I will only be using that one! My username is @connxvi , feel free to follow!

I am still working on relaunching my Instagram, I may possibly be creating a fresh new account but I shall keep you posted on that one.

I’m super excited for these changes to take place so that I can finally start taking blogging much more seriously, hopefully everything works out just fine!

Do you have anything planned for the near future? Let me know in the comment section below!
