This is just a quick post to tell you guys about one of the most amazing concert experiences I’ve had.
On Thursday I went to go see Drake in concert and it was honestly one of the best nights of my life. He most definitely knows how to put on a show, he played most of the songs I love and his visuals were insane, like I can’t put into words how good his staging was.
So back in October when I bought tickets. My friends and I all got seated tickets for Block 327, Row G (terrible seats). We arrived at the arena and got in more or less straight away and I tell you a miracle happened when we were going to our not so great seats and a security woman stopped us and gave us floor wristbands. I was honestly over the moon at this point but it gets better. I genuinely though the floor would be packed but it turns out it wasn’t and we practically ended up right at the front, a couple rows behind the barrier. Needless to say, I was so happy. Even more so because I managed to stand with my friends who originally bought standing tickets. The show started and it was as great as I could’ve imagined, the crowd were super loud and excited and it was just an all-round amazing experience. He also announced that hes about 2 weeks away from finishing his new album ‘More Life’ and i couldn’t be more excited. I’m definitely going to see him again when he comes back
I’d like to thank First Direct Arena for giving us floor wristbands and making a night I’ll never forget. Standing for the 2nd time at a concert has made me realise how worth the long ass wait is and how much fun it is. I’ll definitely try and get standing to all the concerts I go to from now on.
Tell me about your best concert experience in the comments below or if you’ve been upgraded from bad seats to great ones!
